How do you get above 4.5 without AP? …
@Anish14 Honors courses are weighted at most schools. If your school is really lame (like mine!) they will weight honors and AP exactly the same.
@Qwerty568 Wow, wish my school did that! 5.0 for a Honors Class A sounds great… My school does a 4.5 scale on Honors and 5.0 on AP.
Mine does the 4.5 scale for honors/AP. It’s crazy to think that my administration thinks an honors Spanish course freshman year is equally as hard as AP Chem. Oh well. There’s a reason why admissions officers look primarily at unweighted GPA and recalculate it to suit their needs. There’s so much fluctuation between high schools!
@Qwerty568 Hahah Honors Spanish is a joke until maybe 4 or AP Spanish Lang. Even the AP isnt as hard or equivalent to AP Chem.
