How do they do it in the Ivies?

<p>About SAT scores...do they just look at how you did only on your best test day, or do they take your best scores from each section? I know Rice does the latter, but I was wondering about the Ivies and other top-tier schools.</p>

<p>This information is available online, and in fact, you'd get your answer more quickly if you just looked. </p>

<p>I'm going to time myself to see how long it takes me to find it on, say, Harvard's site. </p>

<p>So i'm just assuming they ony take the best score from one day....right? Maybe by scores they mean the best from each section. I can't really tell....maybe I'm being stupid again, who knows?</p>
