How do they mark AP Calc BC free response?

So.. say if you made a minor mistake; for example, found the integral but forgot about the initial condition; or if you put a negative instead of a positive while transposing information... Do you lose all your marks for that portion or do you get something? The answer keys posted for previous exams only tell the mark distribution for each question, but not how to deduct marks. Does anyone know?

Also, since many report that the AP Calc BC this year was really easy, what do you expect the curve to look like? Would it still remain at about 64/108 = 5?

A lot of times you lose a point for each of those mistakes that you mention out of the 9 possible. Sometimes, if you make those mistakes concurrently, you just lose the one point.

As far as the curve, one never knows. Although they should be releasing this AP Calc test eventually and with it, the actual cut scores used. That should happen after the 2009 Exam is given.
