How do UC's (specifically Cal) verify grades we've posted? Is it ONLY with the official transcripts we send from our CC/uni, or do they also use the national database? I would assume they use both, but I was curious. Anyone involved in admissions at a UC able to answer?

Is an official transcript not enough verification? I would think so.

^he was talking about how UCs would be able to find out if we went to other colleges and didn’t report our grades. supposedly they can track all the colleges we went to with our SSN and through the databases, but i highly doubt that they would go through every applicant and do that

Yeah I thought it was entirely through official transcripts. Don’t know if they would put in the effort to check every transfer.

I heard it depends where this “secret college” is. If its not in the U.S. then you’re probably okay. If it is, there’s a chance its connected to one of em programs.

does it matter? I wouldn’t risk it.
