I want to drop my last 2 periods for senior year and my school usually consists of 7 class period schedules. Would that ruin chances? I am taking a very intense 5 periods, so I don’t want to over work myself. I’m just curious because all the colleges say “take the most rigorous schedule available to you”. I have done a rigorous schedule throughout high school. Thoughts? Advice?
I don’t think this will affect your chances because colleges know that students need time to work on their applications and/or study for the SAT/ACT
Senior year you should be taking a Math, Science, English, and then Foreign Lang if you like it or haven’t gotten to Level 4, and a social science…I personally would take a fun elective rather than two study periods
The thing is I am taking 4 stems. I was thinking AP Computer Science A, but that might be the tipping point
what are your classes?
