How do Transfer Admissions Weigh/Look at an Honors Program?

I am a freshman at St. Bonaventure University, and have completed my first semester with a 3.82 GPA. My field of study is business management, with the goal of attending dental school. Examples of courses I took were “Pre-Med Bio” and Accounting 201.

I am considering a transfer to schools such as Lehigh University, and others that are similar, and am wondering if they put much thought/ weight into whether an applicant is in the honors program. I ask this because I have been offered a spot, which would require me to alter my Spring schedule, even though I am quite content with the classes that I am taking.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I am also a freshman at St. Bonaventure University. I am currently participating in the Honors Program. Transfer admissions are likely to weigh your participation in an Honors Program heavily because it shows not only high academic achievement, but ambition and ability to take on a larger course load.
