I am really wondering how it could be possible to finish in two years. For instance, I checked my private university that I got accepted into through my girlfriend's account to see what classes they offered that semester before I wanted to accept my admission.

They offer only one of the classes I NEEDED to take this semester in order to graduate on time. They are three courses I absolutely need to take in order to move on to other classes because every other class above it lists them as prerequisites. If they don't even offer it when I need it, how am I going to graduate on time or even be sufficiently prepared for the subject GRE? There are no general eds I need to take and because they don't offer these classes at community college, it makes me sit around...doing nothing with my time.

Also, I thought about what if I switched my major? Well, I look at those and all of the classes I need are either not offered or ENTIRELY filled and over-enrolled. So what's a guy to do? Call the department and ask them to just open those courses for me so I don't have to take another year to graduate? Somehow I don't see them accommodating me.

That goes for all the other universities as well that I applied to. If I decide to accept an offer of admission from somewhere else, how do they accommodate juniors after everyone has already registered for their classes and had their picks?

I think you must sacrifice chickens during the full moon in order to insure graduation within two years. Okay, just kidding. Sounds like you are doing the right thing by planning ahead, currently in order to get the classes I needed to transfer, I have been waking up at 4AM on the first day that I can register for classes and waiting to login at the first opportunity and try to get the classes I need. If that does not work, I immediately send an email to the instructor and request that I get on the waiting list. Then I show up on the first day of the class, and try to get in. This has never failed me and I have not missed a single class that I needed while my classmates are all still waiting to transfer. Just make a game out of it, who can get in first! It amazes me every year that when I arrive at these classes that were overbooked on the first day, ten kids don’t even show up who were registered. Good luck!

Oh, and sometimes you can take one class at another school, like the local community college with a inter school agreement. And that can help too.

just realized that we transfers will not really be competing for the most populated classes, right? we have all of our general education requirements filled, and tons of freshman admits will be vying for those classes. i think this is why the UC systems has transfers complete their GE prior to admission. so i am no longer worried about getting the classes i need. there might be a few that are tough to get, but not expecting it to be that difficult. good luck.
