<p>Regarding math, you won’t get more credit for taking both calculus AB and BC than you would get taking just BC, since AB is a subset of BC (unless you get a lower score on BC than you get on AB). But that is true just about anywhere, not just UC.</p>
<p>For example, if you get a 5 on AB, a college may give you credit for first semester freshman calculus. If you get a 5 on BC, the same college may give you credit for first and second semester freshman calculus, but won’t give you any additional credit if you also get a 5 on AB.</p>
