How do we check Cornell response?

I have not yet received the email, so I just decided to check under my hotmail account incase they have the wrong email (which would make no sense but I did it anyway). Once I got there, I was relieved to see an email that said CORNELL on it! I opened it up, read through it, only to realize its from cornell college IOWA! how sick, mean, and ironic is that?! Right when I'm looking for an email from Cornell, i sure as hell get one...its just the wrong one (and its spam for all I care)...anyway...still waiting....

sorry outinspace -- that wasn't at you, it was at the person upthread (I couldn't decide if they were being sarcastic). : )

@rusty1: that happens to me all the time with mail. my brother keeps getting letters from schools I applied to or schools in places I applied to (cough Ithaca college) and I freak out for no good reason upon glancing at the mailing return address.

My daughter just got the email with instructions as well. Decisions will be out by 5PM(eastern time) on monday 31st. Good luck to you all.

Brilliant subject - "Your Cornell Decision."

:@

I just got it too.
@dtop, 20LEGEND: I completely agree with you guys, what a brilliant subject -.-

Mine said "Your Online Decision," and even though I knew what it was, my heart sped up. Oh, Cornell. :</p>

ok so i got a likely letter but no email - ***?

calm yourself, my friend. i'm sure it takes awhile for such a huge number of emails to make their way into individual inboxes. and congrats on the likely.

Check your spam filters! Mine went into spam but I was lucky enough to skim through the emails before hitting "delete all" so I saved it. You need to receive the email to check your decision online because it gives you a new PIN and password.

I finally got the fricken email. I got my hopes up after reading the subject though.

My father got it and then he sent it to me...I don't know when he recieved it...

Take Sambago's advice EVERYONE, mines got sent to the junk mail folder.....I got really nervous when I saw "Your online decision" too, we just have to wait now.............5 days......................

If your hating on their subject line choice, realize that they have to get your attention somehow. Most people's inboxs are overflowing with crap from colleges, so I think titling it "Your Cornell Decision" was a wise move - you'll be sure to check that.

Plus, I have to think that most of you already knew (i.e. they've been drilling it into our heads that its MARCH 31) when the date was. Why would they release it now if they are bound by the Ivy-release date...? People are so tense around decision time :x

I got mine, check your bulk mail, mine got there and thats why I had not seent it.

The Cornell University undergraduate admissions website has the announcement that everyone will be receiving an email concerning how to check their decisions. So everyone should be getting the same email that dtop and others have received, except perhaps any students that they may have sent "likely" letters to. Though not even sure if they do those.

Good luck to all.
