How do we get contacted if we are accepted through waitlist?

Will we receive a call or is it an email? Is it as usual, 5pm? When? Friday (Today)?

I am also curios about this. If there are any posters who were accepted to Yale through the waitlist, I would appreciate knowing how you were notified.

I got a call today from my regional rep. Then, I checked my eli acct and it had an acceptance letter.

What time did they call you?

Congrats! Care to post your stats or about any communication you've had with Yale during the waiting list period?

Wow! Congrats HandsAcrossTime!

Hey, aren't you the person who got into princeton as well? Or am I remembering someone else? If so where are you going to go do you think?

thanks.
I got the call at 3pm Pacific time from my regional rep (S. CA), which was surprising considering that's a bit late in New Haven.
I accepted Princeton's offer of admissions (so, you're right, mendoukuse), but I'm not sure what to do now. I have until the 19th to choose. Knowing myself, it'll probably take me about that long. Haha.

codexaenir - I sent a quick email to my regional rep after learning that I was waitlisted just explaining that I was still interested and that I was grateful to even get that far in the admissions cycle. Besides that and turning in my response card expressing my wish to remain on the waitlist, I had no communication.

Erm...besides the call, I haven't gotten any emails or packages, though I was told I would get some. My eli account has an acceptance letter and housing info, etc. on it, though.

so this probably means everyone who was accepted has already gotten a call... oh well. Gratz though :)
