Do they give us a key or a card? I'm in Unit 3 in case it differs from place to place.

you get a key

i think cards are cooler like they have at UCLA :(

I’m kinda happy with the key actually. Keys don’t break.

The cards feel more high-tech though hahha. With a room code you have to type in and everything. Plus you can always keep the card in your wallet and it probably won’t break

retina scanners anyone?

Your Cal ID is actually a proximity key card. It’s just that only the newest buildings (and some remodeled buildings) have them.

The dorms are not on this list.

However, several of the classroom and administrative buildings utilize keycards.

Was it really necessary to ask this?

How do you get into your house?

^retina scanner

I’m just trying to figure out if I need to buy a key chain or little credit card holder thing for gym visits. Was it necessary to ask this? No.

hahha how many questions on this forum are actually necessary to ask?

retina scanner lol. thumbprint scanner more likely (though those are really annoying).

DNA sequencer and brain wave matching
