With orientation so late (Sept 21st for Warren and probably all transfers) how do we know what classes we need to take. I know we will be signed up for classes before orientation so will we have any chance to speak to a councilor to discuss our courses?

of course you will talk to an advisor at UCSD but also if you look on the UCSD site for the majors, it will give you a list of courses you need for your specific major, this includes the lower and upper divison

also depending what college you are in you should be able to speak to an advisor online. I know for ERC we submit the classes we are thinking about taking to them in August and they review them and get back to us.

Do you guys have full access to Tritonlink now? You can use the degree audit with the “show class options” option checked. Of course, it won’t be a very good indicator until your transcripts have been processed. But if you know how your classes will transfer and what you’ll have left after IGETC is processed you can figure it out.

look at the ucsd catalog for your major and see what you have that isn’t equivalent or transferred from your cc yet…also your college’s GEs that you haven’t fulfilled.
