HOW do we sign up for orientation and when????

I am so confused, does anyone know?

How do I sign up for an Orientation session?
Orientation reservation brochures will be mailed out at the end of May. It is very important for you to read and understand all the information in this brochure before you sign up for Orientation. You will be responsible for knowing this information.

In order to reserve a session you will need to access the online reservation system through MyUCLA. The online Orientation reservation system will help you reserve a session instantly and let you know right away what sessions are open, as well as provide you with an online confirmation of the session in which you have enrolled.

Sessions are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important that you reserve an Orientation session as soon as you can.

so we wait until the brochure comes in may?

someone told me they tried to book a reservation for the first orientation but its already full. how is this possible?

it's... not? xD

bumppppppping

summer orientation is 3 days long, right? so will room and food be provided by UCLA? Also, is this only an event primarily directed towards the students, or can parents also attend? help please

Yes, 3 days long. Room and board provided; meal plans as well. Parents will not attend this event; there is an even called family orientation, but is not quite related to student orientation.

Refer to this for more information.

yah room and board is "provided" in the sense that you pay $300ish for it...
and family orientation runs parallel with student orientation. they can attend their own orientation on the last day of your session.
