Is there a sepcific form that we fill out? Or do we just give our guidance counselors an envelope addressed to Mcgill?

No, just have your school send them a transcript.

McGill will not accept anything except an official transcript sent directly from your school in a sealed envelope--for obvious reasons.

This was a big problem for my son. He was IB here in the States. IB grades are not completed until July/ August after the year of US graduation.
Everything (for McGill) depended upon his IB grades-much like a mid year report.
Stay on your teachers and guidance counselors at your school. Insist that they send a formal mid year report to McGill. Keep on them. Some US schools aren't very saavy when it comes to this.

do we have to send midyear reports to mcgill? where does it say that on their website?

can they begin reviewing without midyears? my guidance counselor hasn't been helpful or punctual, to put it lightly. i won't be able to send them out until this coming week, and it took my app a long time to get there..
i hope they're patient!

You may want to see if your school will send the report Fed Ex or some other overnight service (at your expense, of course).

If you look at you applcation status and it lists a space for midterm grades under materials recieved, that means they want them before giving out a decision. My report-sent regular US post with a 39 cent stamp took a few weeks to show up on the site as recieved.
