How do you allocate your GE classes?

<p>Do you want to try to finish your GE classes during the first two years of your college career and then take all of your classes specifically for your major? Or do you distribute your GE's over four years?</p>

<p>Distribute. I’m actually trying to get as many ‘major classes’ done early (those I can take with minimal prereqs). I can fill in GE classes my junior/senior year to balance out the 400 level, more intensive courses.
Right now, I’m kind of ‘picking and choosing’ which GE classes I should wait to do until later (ie. ECON 200).</p>

<p>I don’t remember what you said your major/intended major is, but if there are chances for internships (ie. engineering or business majors), get some basic classes done ASAP so you have more options for potential summer internships.</p>
