How do you apply to UCs if you went to two different LACCD college?

Hello folks! How are you doing?

MY question is, and also what the title asks…
How do you apply to UCs if you went to two different LACCD college?
Since a lot of the faculty members at UC are on vacation, I could not ask in e-mail.

For example, to get the major-reqs done, I would take courses at LAVC.
Meanwhile, my main college is LACC.

And… although I went to LACC full-time at first, it looks like I am doing all of my major-req courses at LAVC.

How do I apply in this case? Does anyone have the same experience?

Thank you very much!

I will have attended 5 colleges in total before transferring. You just input it on the application. Not a problem.

Make sure that you take all of the requirements that are offered at the other school, or else you will be penalized. This probably won’t be a problem for you.

Okay! However, just a quick question. You said you took major-req courses at UCB. How about other major-req courses? Have you taken them at different college?

@sodoge I took one major req at UCB - the other two I am taking at CCSF, while my primary school is BCC (doesn’t offer them). Why?

Oh, it’s because it surprised me a bit. 5 different colleges! I don’t know how you managed that!

It’s really crazy. Okay, in all honesty, I envy your work-ethic.

@sodoge Sorry, 6 actually. Three were in the same CC district. UCB is the 4th, CCSF is the 5th, and Foothill is the 6th (online classes).

That’s kind of you. It definitely has room for improvement.

what is the issue? You apply by filling out the UC app. You list the schools you have attended. You have those schools send in an official transcript after you are accepted.

7 schools here. Woot. lol.

As others said, just list them all. It isn’t an issue. Your “current” school will be your most recent school. If you’re currently attending more than one school, your “current” school is the school where you’re currently taking the most units.

People attending different schools for many reasons. They might move, a specific class required (or not required) might not be offered at their current school, their schedule dictates needing a class at a time other than what might be available at their current school, the class at their current school might be full, etc.
