How do you balance school and everything?

I don't know if people are exaggerating or something, but how do people manage to fill all those extra curricular activities into their schedule? All I have is two: robotics and football. Those two are very demanding of my time; during season, I am clocking in about 3 hours a day just for football. Those 3 hours really kill you mentally and physically. Off season, I have Robotics; I used to do track and field, but that took way too much time. I wake up at 5 am and go to school by 5:50 am for morning lift for football. Then after that I have 3 to 3 and a half hours of robotics after school and top that off with tons of homework. After robotics season ends, then time frees up, but that is usually when I am trying to get my grades up. I also have to spend time outside of football and robotics to lift and run and code (I am the lead programmer). Losing sleep is not an option; lack of sleep would just make life miserable for me. It is a bad investment to lose sleep because the teenage years are the years that the brain develops the most. Also because of football I need plenty of food and sleep to recover.

cliffs: How in the world do you guys have the time to do all the junk you guys do?

It’s all about procrastination. Never do anything unless it is do the next day.

If you don’t have time, push it back.

@Daxlo5, that does not workout for me, I usually end up BSing everything if I procrastinate

a to-do list, planner, sleep deprivation, and keeping your goals in mind when you start yawning while doing your hw

That’s the only thing i can say man. I’ve been there. Sometimes’s i won’t get home until 7 from school (Soccer practice) and, i won’t start homework until 8.

What i would suggest is do half your homework that night and do the rest EARLY in the morning. It’ll keep you from killing yourself.

Get a white board in your room. As soon as you get home, write everything on it you want to get done that night. Has somehow managed to help me get homework done much more effectively.

love it otherwindow it works for me as well

You know what, I realize I can’t study for crap. Or at least cram for crap. As I read everything, it seems like I already know it all.
