How can you hide your microwave and put in your dorm room when you move in?

And where is a good place to put it?

How can you hide your microwave and put in your dorm room when you move in?

And where is a good place to put it?

uh, cover it in an unmarked box, then put it at the bottom of your cart that you can borrow from the front-desk to carry all your stuff into the dorm, and then unload it with the door closed. most people like to put theirs under their bed. ;)

just hide it when a room check comes around.

Yeah just don't be obvious about it. I'm bringing a coffee maker, and I'll just stick it in my closet during inspections.

:) UCLA will be a much happier place for everybody if I have my morning cup of coffee!

Yeah, they don't give a flying F for the most part. As far as UCLA housing goes, if they don't see it, they don't care.

I have a two-liter water boiler sitting right on my dresser, in a direct line of sight across from the door and the Housing people didn't even care when they saw it...

Actually jonez, that's pretty much the rule of Housing: If we don't see it, we don't care.

The same goes for alcohol, evil science labs, and Satanic shrines.

Hmm... Evil Science labs you say? And I was just planning on leaving mine at home! :)

Yup, that's definitely the alcohol policy as well ;) .
