How do you calculate Blue Book SAT scores?

I took the SAT practice test #4 in the College Board Official SAT Study Guide and I got a raw score in critical reading 37 (510-570), math 46 (640-700), and writing 39 with an 8 essay (610-740)... how do I calculate my score? The scaled score ranges are a bit far apart... I don't get it.

Get the middle of the two scores i.e. CR- 540, Math-670

Alternatively you could use this and get a bit more accurate:

<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;
Scroll down to the scale.

I’ll just do it for you.

CR - 540
MA - 680
WR - 620
1840

Thanks, but how do you determine the year and month of the practices tests in the blue book?

Just look at the average scores to give yourself a better idea of what your raw score of each section will be. It’s not perfect, but it’s more precise than the score ranges.
