Well, I know that the UC system only considers 10th/11th grade grades for the UC GPA, but I'm still kinda stumped on how they calculate it. So I was wondering if somebody can calculate mine. I was hoping someone could calculate UC GPA and/or weighted GPA. Here are my courses: (1st/2nd semester grades)

9th Grade
Honors Geometry- A/A
Honors English 9- C/C
Honors Biology - B/A
PE- C/D (i heard PE doesn't count towards GPA, is that true?)
Intro to Computers - A/A
Life Skills- B/B (heard this doesn't count either, i'm not sure tho)

10th Grade
Honors English 10- C/B
French 1- A/A
Honors Trig/Math Analysis - A/A
PE - B/A
AP Bio- B/B (4 on the test)
Honors World History - B/B

11th Grade
Ceramics - B/B
AP English Language - C/C (3 on the test)
AP Calculus AB- A/A (5 on the test)
AP Chemistry- B/A (4 on the test)
French 2- A/A
Honors US History- A/A

well... at my school, it doesn't work that way. There's a mile run we had every week (6 min. for an A). Not to mention we had to do 6 bleacher laps on a certain day of the week which included 15 push-ups and 25 crunches at the end of every lap and we had about 15 min. to do 'em. Those were our days where he was being semi-serious. Other 3 days was combination mile/bleachers, in other words, consistent running. Anyways, the thread is about GPA not how crappy I did in PE, so can we please get back to the topic? ^_^

uh yeah sorry about that. Heres what we do take all the a-g courses and add them up. I am going to diregard your honors courses cos they might not be uc approved, so yyour actual gpa may be higher!
Only from 10th and 11th grade though.
10th grade
Hnrs Enligh (regraded as regular course) 2+3=5
French 1 4+4=8
Hnrs trig 4+4=8
Ap Bio (weighted) 4+4=8
Hnrs world history 3+3=6
11th grade
Ceramic 3+3=6
Ap Lang 3+3=6
Ap Calc 5+5=10
Ap Chem 4+5=9
French 2 4+4=8
HNRS Us history 4+4=8

Total points/total classes
82/22=3.727

Of course i may be wrong but it should give u a ball park. If your are instate then the honors courses mey get weighted giving u a high gpa

Uh maelstorm i think your new calculated gpa with weighting in honors is 4.09
Uh heres what i found on the site. Take all your a-g course add up thier points and divide by #of classes. I am guessing with the 8 ap/honors cap, you treat the rest as regular classes. A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1? Tack on an extra point for honors/ap
