How do you calculate your score for AP English Literature & Comp?

<p>That’s a 5. </p>

<p>According to my teacher, 5 on all the essays and 46 raw score on MC = 5.</p>

<p>Perhaps this is more useful:

1. Scoring the AP English Lit exam
   SECTION 1: Multiple choice
   [ (number correct out of 55) - (0.25 * number wrong) ] * 1.25 = MC SCORE (if less than zero, enter zero) = WEIGHTED SCORE SECT. 1</p>

<p>SECTION 2: Free Response Questions
Question 1 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q1 raw score (do not round)
Question 2 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q2 raw score (do not round)
Question 3 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q3 raw score (do not round)</p>

<p>(Q1 raw) + (Q2 raw) + (Q3 raw) = WEIGHTED SECT. 2 (do not round)</p>

<p>COMPOSITE SCORE
(WEIGHTED SECT. 1 SCORE) + (WEIGHTED SECT. 2 SCORE) = COMPOSITE SCORE (round to nearest whole number)</p>

<p>AP GRADE CONVERSION CHART: There may be slight variations year to year.
Composite score range –> AP Grade
108-150 ————————–> 5
93-107 —————————> 4
72-92 —————————–> 3
43-71 —————————–> 2
