<p>^ there’s also a very helpful search button at the top of this page. This topic has been covered many times even very recently. Just search the first two or three pages of UCLA threads and you’ll find them.</p>
<p>Haha, I did google it but I didn’t get it so that’s why I asked. BY contact does that mean just call/email them and say " I want to change my major" and that’s all?</p>
<p>I wouldn’t leave the fate of something like your major with an email that could get lost or read by the wrong people. Just go down to the counselor for the major you want to switch to and ask them. You could send an email to ask them who you should talk to, but best to do it in person.</p>
<p>SOrry… but where do you go to see the counselor for a certain department? Murphy? Do you need an appointment?</p>

<p>Email the departmental counselor for the major you want to switch to. They’ll tell you what you need to do.</p>
