You will probably find out at Admit Weekend.

It's best to ask a student.

axess.stanford.edu will have a time schedule--you might be able to access it.

yea i am able to access axess.stanford.edu.

id otn think im going to the admit weekend though.

i got things to do (useless thigns)

The course bulletin has a list of courses for each department as well as major requirements.

o thx.

hmmm, is CS a minor?

Go to axess to see which classes are offered and which interest you. You can then go to courseguide.stanford.edu and check out what past students have to say about that prof/course. Of course you could also just ask us. For lectures you can just sit in on the lecture, no one will care, they probably won't even notice. If there's a seminar you really really want to see then you could email the prof. Usually profros just go to the lectures, but if there is a seminar you just must attend the prof might allow you to sit in on the seminar anyway. You could probably visit an IHUM section by contacting the TF if you want to check that out.

Just a bit of advice... don't dress up to visit campus. You'll stick out. You can always tell that the people who nervously sit in the back of the lecture hall who have on khakis and a button down are profros. Just wear like jeans and a top of some sort. Stanford is pretty laid back. Often even the profs don't wear anything dressier than jeans and a polo shirt.

laid back schools are cool

handbook was very informative. im pretty excited to get started this fall.
