List your methods...

I’ve got some great methods, if I have time tomorrow I’ll list them for you.

i deal with procrastination my playing video games

I embrace procrastination…more facebook is more fun.

i don’t know, i’ll tell you later i don’t feel like it now.

;D

^Lol at the responses. I need help too OP:(

^^Lol. The work has to get done some time. It’s either now, or tomorrow, or the day after that. You might as well do it when you can/have to.

^What if tomorrow sounds tempting?:/

Here’s an example. I’ve got my Chapter 12 notes to do for APUSH tonight. I am doing them tonight because I have a quiz tomorrow that I need to get an A or a B on. I should have done my notes one or two nights ago, but instead I waited till today. Procrastination much? Yes. :(

If I care about it, I by definition have the motivation to avoid procrastination.

Any real methods…?

I just realized that my previous post probably wasn’t very helpful. Here are two thoughts:

1) Do your work in school. Most high schools have lots of wasted time in a given day - use it! You don’t need to neglect your social life; just work through some stuff while hanging out at lunch or before class.

2) Live a disciplined life. Learn to wear a watch and regulate your activities based on the time.

deal with it later

I put it off for later.

just embrace it

Hmm…wearing a watch? I suppose that would work. I don’t know if the OP feels this way, but when I’m procrastinating I tend to put it off until the last minute, hence the name. Knowing I SHOULD be doing it isn’t enough for me for some odd reason.

unplug your computer

Inspiration is overrated.
Don’t wait til you “feel like it”.
Make a list of WHAT you need to do and WHEN.

Do it.

disable internet, tv, turn off all electronics in general, etc.

^^I tried that and nothing got done:/(sigh)
