<p>I’ve decided to go to UCSD and have sent in my SIR already, but how do I decline admission to the other schools I was accepted to? I know there are tons of people on the waitlists so I think its only fair to let other schools know I don’t plan to attend but I can’t find a “decline” button anywhere on the santa barbara website. Does anyone know how to do this or are you supposed to just not send in your SIR?</p>

<p>Most campuses allow you to decline and you should find the link/button on the SIR page. Or you can do nothing and that is in essence a declination once the SIR deadline passes.</p>
