I have heard of HYP, HYPMS,but never HYPSMCC. What does that stand for?
Chicago and Columbia?
@yikesyikesyikes , I think yes – the CC are Chicago and Columbia. But why stop there? We xcould end it with a real flourish by adding Caltech and Penn, to make it HYPSMCCCP. Or, splitting the tiers, HYPSM and CCCP. I’m sure the quartet of schools would be thrilled by that, those commie bast$&@s. 
As for demonstrated interest, i think any school that cares about yield cares at least a little bit about DI.
