<p>My mom and I were just arguing about a section in the NYU application. There is a part in NYU application that says how do you describe yourself with a list of different ethnicity. I was born in China so I chose Chinese, but my mom told me that I should check Korean since I lived there for 5 years and I act more like korean than Chinese. My question is who is right and what should I check? btw I'm chinese</p>
<p>then i suggest you put down chinese. it doesn't matter much though because they'll consider you asian-american and you'll have just as hard a time getting into the school.</p>
