<p>I am not sure but I am doing the whole work here. sorry, I am too lazy to work with pens and paper as it is 4:48 am here.</p>

<p>the question asks to find out height. so,</p>

<p>the volume of whole solid is:</p>

<p>3<em>4</em>2= 24.
and the smallest area is:
3*2= 6</p>

<p>and there is 16 CFT water, so, imagine the height is X</p>

<p>X*6=16
so, X= 16/6</p>

<p>I am not sure. but seems like it’s the answer.
P.S: I’m not sure as I make silly mistakes these days.</p>

<p>The smallest base? That is 2x3 or 6. As the poster above wrote, the answer has to be 16/6.</p>
