Hi, I will be taking the PSAT this fall as a junior and i really really want to be a national merit finalist...what is the best method of doing well on this test specifically? resource recommendations?

Do well in school, get a book.
I personally DIDN’T study for PSAT. I went into SAT, which made the PSAT seem easier. And it was (238)

Just do SAT prep. It should be easier since it doesn’t include the essay. The absence of the essay was actually a benefit, in my case

Pretty much the same for my D. Just prep for SAT over the Summer and do a few timed practice for PSAT before the test. The SAT prep will get you ready for the questions and the PSAT practice will get you the timing.
