How do you feel by the end of the summer?

Bored out of your mind and ready to go back to school? Dreading it?

It seems like this time each year I catch the 'excited to go back to school' bug. That bug usually goes away after the first week of classes.

SO ready to go back to school. It’s only the beginning of July and I’m already kind of over the break.

I so so so want to go back. I hate it here, I don’t know anyone and all I do is sit around. I feel a bit like Harry Potter wanting to go back to Hogwarts in some ways :D

I am so ready to be back with my friends at school! It sucks being 10 hours away from most of my friends.

Nah, I love working 50 hours a week. Really don’t want summer to end.

Exhausted! But ready to see all of my friends again I s’pose.
I’m taking summer school and doing an outside lab so I’ve been kept busy. I’ve also been partying quite a bit. Summer sessions are the best! At least at my school.

**** god damnit hell no too short, ****
I know like 90% of the people here want summer to end as soon as it begins though.

So so so so ready to go back. I’m only working at a restaurant and taking a 3-hour summer class, so I have too much free time and not enough friends at home to fill it with. I just went to DC to visit two of my friends who are interning there, and it just made me miss them so much more now that I’m home again. Only like a month and some change til I get to go back though!

Kinda ready to go back to school because of the freedom, friends and such but at the same time enjoying not doing anything, no worries, and being with my old friends… we’ll see how I feel by mid-August.

Feel like going back to school. I don’t have a car so it’s not like I can do one of my favorite things (go for long drives in the countryside; I can only do that when my dad lets me borrow his minivan while he’s out of town on a business trip). I don’t have a job but if I did, I’d still wanna go back to school because the only kind of job I can get is ****ty retail or food service. Not exactly the sort of job you look forward to waking up to each day.

Gimme a car or a fun job and then I’d enjoy three months of nothingness a lot more.

I have some stuff I’d like to do yet before the end of summer, but yet I want college to start, so idk…in some ways yes, some no!

I can’t wait to go back to school!!

I’m torn lol. I’m excited for the new academic year and I have this feeling that things are going to be 1 trillion times better than things were last year, but I’m enjoying being a lazy slag too lol. I worked hard (not as hard I could’ve but I still worked hard) last year and it’s nice to just kick back and relax and not have to stress about homework, exams, papers, etc.

And contrary to popular sentiment, I think the summer is going by really fast lol. Next week is already the halfway mark of July. Time zooms by man.

Well my summer doesn’t end till the last week of august, but I feel pretty good about the coming year. I know that there’s gonna be a lot of work for me to do and i’m planning on getting a lot of work done. I’m planning on transferring to another school for the spring semester so there’s a lot of loose ends i’ll need to tie up. I plan to join about 3 clubs and work harder to get my GPA up. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a job for the fall semester as well.

Usually I feel a lot of regret for wasting the summer playing games. I also start having nightmares about the first day of school. Sometimes I worry that I have forgotten everything, so I do practice questions to make sure I didn’t become ■■■■■■■■.

This year it should be a little different, because I’m actually looking forward to the start of school. It’s my senior year, so it should be fun.

Same as iluvpiano…I’m excited for college, but there’s still a lot I want to get done this summer, especially what with getting ready for college. It seems like the summer is going by so quickly!

^^Trust me it does. Embrace it!

I’m working out of town on a nature reserve and I have no car. So isolated and bored! I really just want to be in an exciting environment again and I know school qualifies as such.
