Hi everyone. I'm a senior who's trying to plan out college visits during spring break. I especially want to visit the following places:

Pomona
Stanford
Rice
UCSD
UCB

I have researched online for about an hour now, and I've gathered that each of these colleges have some kind of admit day/weekend. I'd rather go to one of these than a normal college visit by myself. But the only problem is, I don't know when these admit days/weekends are. I tried looking them up online, but without much luck.

So far, I know that UCSD's Freshman Admit Day is on April 9. But that's all the info I have regarding dates. Does anyone want to direct me to where I can find this info or tell me when/where it will be released? If it won't be released until around the same time I get my decision, I will have to make other plans for my visits.

Thanks SO MUCH for your help! I really appreciate it :)

They’re not gonna tell you until they admit you. The only times I’ve ever gotten info about orientations and such are when I’ve received an acceptance or likely letter. So hold tight! I’m with you on the planning thing–I’m just leaving a blank spot for travel during spring break hoping that I get to use it to visit colleges I’m accepted to.

For Berkeley I believe it’s usually Cal Day - which this year is April 16. The website says there are sessions in the morning for admitted students. [Save the date for Cal Day, UC Berkeley](Cal Day | Visitor Services)

Most of Admitted Student days are listed somewhere on the school’s website. I took a quick look at the first school you listed (Pomona) and on the admissions calendar it states Pomona offers no overnights from March 11-31 and overnights for Admitted Students Only from April 1-30. So browse around each school’s website and you’ll probably find what you’re looking for.

Thanks for all the responses! @SpiritManager and cltdad, thanks for the links. I’ll look through those. Cal Day sounds like a lot of fun, I hope I can go!

@QuietLurkingMom: Thank you for the advice. I did look around each schools website, but it was hard to find the info on some of them. I think it’s because the colleges don’t really publicize the admit days/overnights to everyone, just to the people who are accepted.

Update: I now have info about the following admit days/weekends: UCLA (accepted), UCSD (accepted), and UCB. I think as time goes by, I’ll get more info from my other colleges.
