Like when do they post it? I'm a sophomore so is that too early for it to be posted already, or could I just ask my guidance counselor and she would be able to tell me?

If your school does calculate it, you should be able to just ask your guidance counselor for it. I know at my school they gave them out at the end of freshman year, but it may vary from school to school.

High schools have varying rules about ranking. Many rank, many don’t, and those that rank may or may or may not do it for every year of high school. Generally if they do it, it will show up on your end of semester or end of year report card for years in which they do it. In any event, if you have not received a report card showing rank you should ask your counselor what your school does.

My school hands out a transcipt at the end of every semester with our rank on the bottom. Ask your counselor. Maybe he/she will at least be able to give you an estimate of where you stand.

I’m a sophomore too, and at the beginning of this year I just went to my counselor and asked him for my rank, which he gave me. Not every school ranks though, so ask your counselor.
