Hi everyone!
I noticed on some people's past posts they had their admission acceptance letter inviting them to attend one of their College Days and how you could RSVP by clicking on the "You're Invited!" link.

What does it mean if I don't have that on my admission letter? Do they only send this invitation to only some of the people who were accepted?

You’re talking about the “UCLA Bruin Day,” right? It could be that UCLA will not be visiting your area; the invites were area-specific. They’re coming to Berkeley for me, March 28.

i didn’t get this part on my acceptance letter. (i saw this in previous posts)

“In the meantime, we invite you and your family to attend one of our College Days, where you will learn about the extraordinary academic opportunities, honors programs, and campus life at UCLA. Many of our most innovative programs have been designed specifically for freshmen. To view more information and RSVP for a College Day and other special invitation-only events, please click on the “You’re Invited!” link on the left hand side of this page.”

I don’t have a “You’re Invited!” link. does it matter that i am a nursing major? because i don’t think it would.

I think the Welcome Day may only be for letters and science then. I don’t remember it being that specific last year, but I know some schools do it that way. I would just call admissions and ask; they should point you in the right direction.
