I am in high school, and I just generally feel like I do not get much respect from my classmates. For some reason, they often like to stop talking to me to talk to others, even though I am already in a conversation with that person. And people have no problems walking up to someone I am talking to and just talking to that person, while completely ignoring me.

I really don't know what's wrong... is it because I'm not particularly talented at anything (ie. sports, or even academics)? Bcus i dont have many lady friends? (I'm a guy btw)

Being a decently sociable and friendly person helps. Smarter people that aren’t considered socially awkward and talk to enough people also tend to be respectable.

– Of course, this is the simplest way to gain the respect and adornment of your classmates, though you’ll have to see how much you are willing to risk in order to get this respect.

In my school pretty much no one has respect for each other. EVERYONE talks **** about other people behind there back. There is probably only a few kids in my friend group that doesn’t, it sucks.
