This year my schedule is:
P.E.
French 2
Geometry
AP Biology
AP European History
Honors English

I want to get into a good college, so of course I have to do as good as possible. How do you guys manage to get perfect grades? Any strategies? I need help! :/

How do I get straight A’s? By not worrying about grades, taking subjects that I like, and focusing on the material, not the outcome. Then the grades just come as a result of the aforementioned things. But worrying about grades will only lead to stress and failure. Just relax, study when you need to, have fun, and you’ll do fine. And don’t make grades the sole focus of your life. Find something else you like to do. It doesn’t have to be a “marketable” EC: for me, it was video games. Whenever I didn’t feel like doing work, I’d just sit down and play Assassin’s Creed. It really calmed me down, and actually allowed me to think. You’ll need that kind of outlet for yourself too, cause things get much tougher than that schedule.

@muta marines man! The joy of playing terran<3

Unless you are talking about the attack hot key in the top part, instead of just the second line like I think. In which case, I’m embarrassed. If you are talking about cheap a-moving units that aren’t marines, roaches/stalkers ?

You study hard, work hard, and don
t slack off. Allow yourself breaks too…my AP teacher told us to take one day off per week because if we did TOO much homework and studying, that wouldn
t be good either. Participate in something you like. I love to write, and is a good outlet for whenever I`m mad, stressed, or just feel like writing.
Personally, I dont get straight As (Well, not last year at least, and doesn`t look like it for this 9 weeks).

But just be sure that you find a studying method that works for you, get tutoring if you need it, and such like that.

@muta I only ever played wings of liberty, never got to see swarms/lurkers I liked early marine pressure (cheese), so storm wasnt an issue.

@logic I was gold as well but usually played 2v2 with my high master no life neighbor who is a pretty cool guy. Deranking and then going on winstreaks until master<3

um you remind yourself of the death that would accompany not getting straight a’s obviously.

haha it’s more about learning to not try hard in every class every day, but rather focusing on things that need focus and dealing with them all as deadlines approach. at least… for me…

it’s also about having good teachers, though, which isn’t really something you can influence :

I guess I will start sc2 after my college apps are in but that’ll be in like a year and a half. I content myself with occasional stream watching nowadays but I don’t play. What say we play then?

For me the best strategy was to not think about them much, but have the mindset that anything less than an A is unacceptable. Forsake sleep, let comfort flee from you, and grow in your abilities. Enjoying your classes will help a ton as well.

Taking AP gov, AP calc, Spanish 3, honors chemistry, AP lit, senior project, and college writing/speech (school requirement for seniors, they’re just a bunch of projects and the one before is mainly a 15 page research paper to graduate) this year and somehow I’ll be valedictorian of my class of 32 students.

The purpose in this is to say I honestly attribute any success I have to God and pray for strength every day. I mean, I didn’t create myself, so I’m just using what I’ve been given, inasmuch or little that is. Aside from that, don’t worry about it that much, just treat it like eating; you feed yourself everyday without fail, so let grades be something that are a basic requirement of life, not something that consume or absorb all of your thoughts (so think about them less, but try just as hard or harder). Keeping in mind you goals can help too. Oh and having friends that succeed in school can help push you as well.

I usually watch whatever bw is on the side of teamliquid dot com.I sometimes watch Morrow when he plays HOTS beta.Anyways, My watching preference is like this;

HOTS Z using Swarm Hosts = HOTS T using widows = BW Z (unless ZvZ which is just boring imo) = BW T = BW P (I actually like this mirror) > Sc2 Z > Sc2 P > sc2 T

Don’t study or read when it is just a “GE” course. Course notes a bunch. Use a Spanish translator. Use the back of the book. The internet. Your resources, and be smart when you actually read or listen to the teacher.
