After 4 years of one son traveling to Grinnell, I am very much looking forward to the easier travel to Bowdoin.

We rented a storage unit for our daughter between her freshman and sophomore year. It was not cheap. After that, we told her to bring the extra stuff home and from then on everything had to fit in a car!

Dickinson parent here - school provides shuttle service to Harrisburg train station and airport for breaks, or they can take a public bus from Carlisle. 30 min from campus. The school has an impressively large international student presence and makes an effort to provide easy access to Harrisburg for transportation. Students at a distance often split cost on a storage unit for the summer.
