<p>I’m guessing this link doesn’t work for spring admits because it doesn’t work for me. Makes sense considering we won’t be sending in a deposit for months.</p>

<p>Yeah, you can’t make an email account until they’ve processed your deposit.</p>

<p>are any of your emails funny?? mine cuts my first name in half, then has my middle initial and last initial. my friend’s last name was cut in half. silly…</p>

<p>mine’s my first name plus my last name’s initial. quite normal… except for the fact that now it spells “…seat” lol</p>

<p>I think there’s a 8-character limit :frowning: My first+last name make 9, so I’m cheated out of one character. If only they had put my middle initial, it might have made sense.</p>

<p>Btw, if you want, you can give people your email as <a href=“mailto:firstname.lastname@usc.edu”>firstname.lastname@usc.edu</a> and it’ll forward it your real email. I also recommend switching your email to USC gmail right away. Its a million times better than the regular USC email.</p>

<p>and yeah, my e-mail name is dumb too. its my first name, and ha (b/c the first two letters of my last name are “h-a”) but it sounds weird, like if someone’s laughing at my name!
can e-mail addresses be changed?</p>

<p>War Chant: Do you know if there’s a delay with that? I just tested it with my personal email account, and it hasn’t gone through :frowning: It’d be nice though! I just signed up for USC Gmail; thanks!</p>

<p>Its instant, make sure you’re using the right name (it may sound stupid but its true).</p>

<p>just in case there’s been another person at usc with your full name :)</p>
