How do you go through with transferring?

<p>I'm a freshman in college and I am planning on transferring next semester and I don't know where to begin.</p>

<p>It depends on where from and to, and what your financial situation is. You should consider posting on the transfer forum. But maybe the parents forum too. A lot of freshman feel like transferring this time of year, and then things work out. That’s how it was with my D.</p>

<p>My daughter did transfer and it all started with an application to the preferred school. That’s a good place to start.</p>

<p>I also am trying to transfer, I go to Morgan, I want to go to FAMU. Apply to the schools, wait till you get your final grades in & get your school to send the transcripts to the schools of your choice.</p>
