There is a hospital relatively close to me, around 20 minutes away. They have Shadowing, it’s like 1 hour long for one time duration thing, and you have to fill out a lot of forms each time, but I think that’s normal. How do you guys get more than that because I’ve seen lots of people on here with around 100+ shadowing hours. Also, do you just keep shadowing the same doctor, or do you shadow a different one each time?
@mic347 A lot of it has to do with where you live. Some areas have more opportunities than others. Also, there are other avenues that are just as good as hospital shadowing but will give you more interaction with staff such as a nursing home which usually has a doctor and nurses making rounds weekly.
@jessapen So it’s still shadowing the same doctor over and over as their making rounds?
