How do you know if UCLA will request an IGETC certification?

How do you know if UCLA WILL request an IGETC certification? Does it say it on the my.ucla portal? Will I receive an email? etc.

At least for my UCLA agreement, the only mention of IGETC is here: “If you are transferring from a California community college or a University of California campus and will complete IGETC or UC Reciprocity, respectively, submit your official certification by September 1, 2016.” So I guess you just need to send it in before September 1st.

@testingthis does it say anything about IGETC on your my.ucla portal? and are you doing IGETC?

But it may be different for you. Do a ctrl-f search for ‘IGETC’ under the ‘Admission Contract’ tab and see what you’ve got.

@testingthis I already saw that on the ‘admission contract’ on admission.ucla.edu portal. But you don’t have anything about IGETC on your my.ucla.edu ?
