How do you know if/when to send your verification info?

<p>That's an awkward title...But what I'm trying to figure out is, what do we do next after FAFSA and Profile are done and schools are starting to send financial aid decisions? </p>

<p>Will the schools let us know what they need in the way of verification for the financial info on FAFSA and Profile? </p>

<p>Or do we only verify to the school he ends up at?</p>

<p>I have never heard of IDOC until just now. Am I supposed to be doing something with that? (Only 2 of his 9 schools are Profile schools.)</p>

<p>(And by verification I'm referring to W2 forms, income tax forms, or whatever.)</p>

<p>I think IDOC is only for Profile schools, so I cannot speak to that.</p>

<p>If your SAR has an * next to the EFC you will be verified. Some schools verify every one though, I don't know if that shows up.....if you have the * you may see financial aid verification forms on the website of the finaid department of your various school and you could get going on it. I always scanned the documents and emailed them with return receipt requested, so I had proof and I had everything on my computer in case I needed ot resend it to any one :)</p>
