How do you know where your school ranks in terms of their program?

I’m looking into majoring in accounting, but I’m also curious to know where my school ranks. It’s just a normal state school… where can I find reliable information?

There are some rankings online if you google “top undergraduate accounting programs” (I think USNWR only has the top ten for free). But IMO the most important measure is to find out if all of the Big 4 and other large public firms recruit heavily from your school, what GPA is needed to get an interview etc. (the accounting dept. or career placement may have some information on this).

I mean, what do you want from your ranking? Do you want to know whether the grads make a lot of money, or if the academics are good, or if the teaching is good? ETC ETC lots of different criteria.
