deans honors has nothing to do with tap. the way it worked with my school at least is it just says scholors/honors by the honors classes you took.

Really?
So, how do you know if you have completed TAP program from your script??

I think that completing 6 or 5 honors classes will qualify you as TAP completed student, and you are ready to go to UCLA.

After completing the honors or scholars classes, doesn’t your script indicate that you have completed the honors classes by Dean’s Honors" ??

I went to the honors program at my school last week inquiring about a similar question. Basically, you get flagged as a TAP student (I’m not sure how, whether you indicate it on your application, or if the school has something to do with that), but around January UCLA will send a list of students to your schools honors department to verify that you have or will have completed the 15 units of honors. If you haven’t or will not, you lose the certification and become a regular applicant.

You don’t fill out the “honors scholar app” until the Spring quarter before you transfer.

Your CC should have a honors website. It’s all there.

YOU know you’ve completed TAP when you’ve finished about 15 units (varies from school-to-school) of honors courses.

UCLA knows that you will complete TAP by the time you transfer when both you and your transfer counselor submit a TAP form around February, which lists the honors classes you’ve taken and are enrolled in, as well as any known grades.

Or at least that’s how I did it. And I think there’s a “UCLA TAP” box that you check off on your transfer app. in November. There has never been any indication of completing TAP on my transcript, unless you want to count the fact that all my honors classes are listed.
