I like most of the essays I've written so far... pretty good rec's (I'm using journalism prof, econ prof, hs gifted teacher who I did a ton of ECs for and had for 5 years, and another guy that I'm using just for Penn)

My biggest weaknesses I think are Sat II's and I don't have the pre-req's for some of the schools

Took 5 AP Courses (most you can take without taking two languages but only took 1 of the tests) 4 on AP Gov, and I took a college Calc course so had no reason to take that test... other three I didn't want to take

Penn would be an uber reach

My bologne has a first name.. it's b-u-m-p

Why didn't you apply to some of these colleges as a freshman? A valedictorian at Ithaca College....

I really liked their journalism program. I've realized that I don't want to be a journalist and now I want to get the hell out of here (Unless I end up at Cornell). :) I'm just really curious since it's harder to figure out transfer admissions, IMO. And yes, I get fruststrated when I think about how probably would've had a better chance at most of these schools as a freshman.

Hmm. Does Ithaca give you major $$? I think you could've gotten into most (if not ALL) of these schools as a freshman!

I'm getting about 14k per year in merit aid.

Oh yeah, I mostly applied to schools that had strong journalism programs and I could swim at (which I chose not to even do - a mistake looking back on it, worst part is I becamse a much better swimmer that could've probably swam on teams at better schools after most application deadlines were over). But I honestly chose it because it has, IMO, a very good journalism program (due to award-winning radio and tv stations that you can be active with as a fresman - I wanted to do broadcast).
