How do you manage to pursue two or three or four different interests at the same time

It's kinda hard because if you concentrate and think of one interest so much your ability in the other interest will decline. How to keep them up high altogether?

You find two things that you love equally and can do equally…really. Or you could find some way to combine them together to make some freaky hybrid extracurricular.

It’s pretty simple - if it hasn’t struck you as a main love or a priority, it’s probably not worth your time to make it so.

Time management and passion in those areas

I guess it depends on what activity you’re interested in. If you love running and XC, maybe you’ll run once a day and have time to focus on other things. If you like researching something science-related or want to write a book, you’ll probably have to prioritize, resulting in a “decline of interest” in something else.

This may sound really basic/obvious/cliche, but if you love what you do, you’ll MAKE time to do it no matter what.

If your interests are intellectual, you can read books and stuff about them. For example, if you’re interested in physics and psychology, you could read Greene and Kandel. Or something like that.

If you really like something, you find time to think about it at weird times.

Yeah it is very difficult. Like I’m interested in my academics and fashion/photography; two complete different things. Obviously academics are far more important so I feel really guilty when I express interest in things other than school. It’s hard to find that balance.

You keep a schedule. :)

Here’s mine that will take affect in about two days. (Job interview tomorrow, yay!)
6:30 AM ||||||| Wake Up, shower, etc.
7:30 AM - 9:00 | Gym
9:30 - 12:00 ||| Quick shower, do whatever I want, free time, etc.
12:00 - 4:00 ||| SAT, SAT Subject Tests, ACT, Summer projects (Not all in one day, of course)
6:00 - 12:00 ||| Go to work, work, come back from work
12:30 |||||||||| Go to bed

Of course, I have to do some major tweaking since the gym is going to leave me tired. I’m working on a eating plan that’ll allow me to gain muscle and yet not be very tired. So, of course, schedule’s going to change and this is only for the summer. xD

All about schedules. Stick to them! I wish I learned that lesson earlier. :(

Hey if we just make schedule and merely stick to them you’ll find yourself trying hard to drag on the time instead of using it. So schedule is an epic fail
