Keep him talking, motivated and stay on ‘his’ side…Encourage him to do his best - that doesn’t mean he will get a 4.0. Accept that the path you want for him may not be the one he chooses.</p>

<p>Once you can get to this point OP, and stop comparing your youngest to his brother and his father, you’ll be on your way. And so will your son.</p>
