How do you motivate yourself?

<p>haah darkhope if you think about it... isn't myspace & such unproductive time wasted at least 70% of the times you are on? </p>

<p>Suppose you log in myspace... so your private messeges, comments, picture comments, pop out, You check them section by section... then you have to let the music (takes a while) unload.... and then, you go check out the bulletin... <em>stuff like "How much you know about me" "list of three words after sex" "learn about what you didn't know of your friends"</em> etc etc...
Then you still have to go respond messages your friends left you... refresh page, refresh page, refresh page... ah!! finally they responded....</p>

<p>I did have a myspace but I check it once a week now, or either do not check it all together...
I really would like to know what do you learn through this virtual yet unrealistic "space"....</p>

<p>About Motivation--> competition among friends, desire to make my loved ones proud (family & friends from my homecountry), ambition to test my academic limit</p>

<p>I always motivate myself by looking at Jessica Alba's picture, and always reminding myself that If i go to Yale just like her boy friend (Cash Warren) did, i would be able to get an amazing girl like her.
I think nothing can be as motivating as this is, unless you're a girl.</p>
