<p>Oh, right, about the rejection-letter-ish idea. Sometimes you have to be masochistic to stay motivated.</p>
<p>I don’t actually do quotes, because, er, I feel uncomfortable with the idea of leading my life around someone’s else stunningly wise quotes. Ugh. But it depends on the area that needs motivating, maybe?</p>
<p>lol so for getting myself to study for math competitions and such, I place my big state Mathcounts trophy from jr. high right in front of me. It reminds me that I wasn’t good enough to make nationals (which makes me mad, encouraging me to make it up now), but that I do have some potential if it means I beat so and so in the past.</p>
<p>For just doing homework I look at some of the Decisions threads on CC and feel stupid. Then I proceed to Facebook where I browse some of my more…challenged classmates’ displays of unintelligence. And suddenly I feel the urge to do whatever it takes to not be like them lol…</p>
