I spend way too much time on CC. And Reddit. And doing anything BUT schoolwork. I've got my homework sitting in front of me for the past hour, and I've only written a couple of sentences. Help ):

Get a blocker to block whichever sites you choose to block.

I do, but not as much as I used to. I have a small white board in my room with a never ending to-do list of things that need to be done by the week. Since I am usually in my room if I am home I see all of the things I should be doing which motivates me to work.

I have a blocker, funny thing is I disable it whenever I feel like procrastinating more haha (: Feel like a hopeless case. Whiteboard idea sounds good though!

Tell yourself you’ll be homeless with no job prospects after high school if you don’t do your homework. Motivation.

Make a plan for how you are going to do you homework, what assignments first, which need to be done no matter what, etc. For long-term projects, make a plan to divide the work and start right after you make the plan; it is easier to keep going once uou start. When bored, do homework for a class you like more to “procrastinate” on your other homework. Make sure you get rid of distractions; turn off the computer, don’t do homework while hungry, etc.

NOT procrastinating? Maybe later

Try to do the homework that doesn’t take you as long in school (during lunch or off periods if you have them) I’m more motivated to do my work in school because I’m already in the work mindset. Only go online once you finish one thing as a reward which will motivate you to finish and work quicker.

Improve your procrastinating skills and/or convince yourself that studying is actually fun.

I don’t know. I’m a hopeless procrastinator. This week, I’ve actually been working hard and not getting distracted which is amazing. I think it’s because next week is spring break, so I’m just trying to power through. (Oh, and Friday is the end of the marking period. And we had 2 tests pretty much every day this week. Nbd.)

Teachers really pile on the tests the week before break. So glad spring break is here for me, a very welcome rest. But they’ve assigned a bunch of homework over break, which I’ve been making slow, slow progress…
