How do you Penn students feel about the Penn campus?

the drawers underneath are not attched to the beds, they're just little chests of drawers. you move them out into a corner of the room if you bunk the beds

each bed has two of said chests of drawers underneath, and you can stack them if you want to make them take up less space out in the room

Really though, there's not much you can do to make a hill room seem bigger. Bunking the beds is probably your best bet (one room on my hall did it so we could get a beer pong table in the resulting free space), but overall I think the bunks are probably too much of a hassle.

I'd seen them but didn't know how they operated......thanks.

I lived in Graduate House between Provosts' Tower and Thomas Penn

There is one thing you can do to make a Hill room bigger: just chuck everything out the window, and rest on a sleeping bag.

my lovely hill room had bars on the window, so even that would've been tough to do (the extra 2 inchest of space the took up coming out into the room was infuriating)

See, Hill really is a prison! They won't even let you throw your stuff out the window!

Keeps drunks from falling out........or was it to keep the vestal virgins in I foget?

If that were true, then every room of the Quad should be hermetically sealed and bolted, to keep the vestal virgins from coming IN!

Gee soon there will be a whole new "crop" of vestal virgins arriving.....hhmmmmm
